Barjabarahi hospital
बज्रबाराही चापागाउँ अस्पताल ललितपुरको चापागाउँस्थित एक सामुदायिक तथा सरकारी अस्पताल हो। यो अस्पताल बागमती प्रदेश सरकार अन्तर्गत सञ्चालन भएको हो। यसले स्थानीय बस्ती, ग्रामीण क्षेत्र तथा आसपासका जनताका लागि सहज, सुलभ र गुणस्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा उपलब्ध गराउँदै आएको छ।
यस अस्पतालको इतिहास २०२८ सालतिरदेखि सुरु भएको मानिन्छ, जब UMN (United Mission to Nepal) को सहयोगमा चापागाउँमा एउटा सामान्य स्वास्थ्य सेवा विस्तार गरिएको थियो। पछि २०४० सालमा यो स्वास्थ्य संस्था “टिचिङ हेल्थ पोस्ट” का रूपमा विस्तार भयो। समयसँगै सेवा आवश्यकताका कारण २०६२ सालमा यसलाई प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र (Primary Health Care Centre) मा परिवर्तन गरियो। अन्ततः २०७३ सालतिर आएर यो अस्पताल औपचारिक रूपमा “सामुदायिक अस्पताल” का रूपमा स्थापित भयो।

ओपीडी सेवा: सामान्य चिकित्सा, शल्यचिकित्सा, बालरोग, स्त्रीरोग, हाडजोर्नी, ईएनटी लगायतका सेवा
आमसुत्केरी तथा मातृ–शिशु स्वास्थ्य सेवा
आईपीडी (भर्ना सेवा): विशेष गरी प्रसूति तथा साधारण बिरामीका लागि
दन्त सेवा: दाँत झिक्ने, फिलिङ, स्केलिङ, रुट क्यानाल, साना मुख–शल्यक्रिया
प्रयोगशाला (Lab): योग्य प्राविधिकसहित २४ घण्टा उपलब्ध

यस अस्पतालमा लगभग २५ शय्या (बेड) छन्। करिब ९९ जना कर्मचारी (डाक्टर, नर्स, प्राविधिक, सहयोगी) कार्यरत छन्।
मुख्य नेतृत्वमा डा. लक्ष्मण खड्का (मेडिकल सुपरिटेन्डेन्ट), डा. अरिका पौडेल, डा. किसन नेपाली लगायतका चिकित्सक कार्यरत छन्।

चापागाउँ र आसपासका बस्तीमा स्वास्थ्य सेवा पुर्याउने महत्वपूर्ण केन्द्रको रूपमा यस अस्पतालले राम्रो योगदान पुर्याउँदै आएको छ। स्थानीय समुदाय, जनप्रतिनिधि तथा सरोकारवालाले यसको सेवा विस्तार, पूर्वाधार सुधार र जनमैत्री स्वास्थ्य प्रणालीलाई अझ प्रभावकारी बनाउने अपेक्षा राखेका छन्।
Bajrabarahi Chapagaun Hospital is a community and government hospital located in Chapagaun, Lalitpur. The hospital operates under the Bagmati Provincial Government. It has been providing accessible, affordable, and quality health services to the local population, surrounding rural areas, and nearby communities.
The history of this hospital is believed to have begun around 2028 B.S., when basic health services were initiated in Chapagaun with the support of UMN (United Mission to Nepal). Later, in 2040 B.S., the institution was expanded into a Teaching Health Post. With growing service needs over time, it was upgraded to a Primary Health Care Centre in 2062 B.S. Finally, around 2073 B.S., it was formally established as a Community Hospital.

OPD services: general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, and more
Maternity and maternal–child health services
IPD (inpatient services): especially for maternity and general patients
Dental services: tooth extraction, filling, scaling, root canal, and minor oral surgeries
Laboratory services: available 24 hours with qualified technicians
Dressing and minor procedure services
Capacity and Human Resources:
The hospital has approximately 25 beds. Around 99 staff members (doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff) are working here.
The key leadership includes Dr. Laxman Khadka (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Arika Poudel, and Dr. Kisan Nepali, among others.
Role in the Community:
The hospital plays an important role in delivering health services to Chapagaun and the surrounding settlements. The local community, people's representatives, and stakeholders expect further expansion of services, improvement of infrastructure, and a more peop
le-friendly health system.
