After the COVID-19 pandemic, when all sports came to a halt, five passionate wushu athlete Bijay Sinjali, Hari Prasad Gole, Amar Bahadur Pulami, Pasang Sherpa, and Nikesh Shrestha took the bold step to bring Wushu back to life. They formed Kalbhairav Wushu Guan, with Nikesh Shrestha as President, and organized the 1st Kalbhairav Open Junior Wushu Championship, sparking a renewed passion for the sport among young athletes and coaches. Over time, the club grew and transformed into Kalbhairav Wushu Academy, now a national-level hub for Wushu in Nepal.

At Kalbhairav, we offer training in all Wushu disciplines Taolu and Sanda for all ages and skill levels. Our experienced coaches focus on building strength, skill, confidence, and character, preparing athletes not just for competitions, but for life.

We are committed to discovering and supporting talented athletes from remote and financially challenged areas, providing education, training, and facilities to help them shine at national and international levels.
